High School Student Lean Six Sigma
High school students can benefit from the Lean Six Sigma program immensely as they try and decide what the next steps of their future consist of. Some students leave high school opting for university studies, while others choose to enter the workforce directly with vocational studies. Regardless of what the student chooses, they can easily benefit from the Lean Six Sigma concepts that can be applied to any field they find themselves in. As high schoolers are attempting to make these big decisions, we hope that our training courses can be useful resources in helping them navigate their future and making sound decisions in whatever it is they decide to do.
What is Lean Six Sigma? Lean Six Sigma is a methodological program approach to reducing waste and increasing lasting productivity across various industries. The program has found success among high schoolers who are entering the workforce or who can use the tools of the program to manage their workloads at university. The Lean Six Sigma program can be applied to virtually any professional setting and is a great way to ensure that students and employees are productive and satisfied with their level of work. Those that are satisfied with their level of work or product are more accommodating to customers, increase communal happiness, and overall industry productivity. How Can Students Benefits? Students can benefit from Lean Six Sigma in several ways, whether the methods be applied to their academic studies for higher education, or their professional place of work if they decide to go into the workforce soon after high school. High school students are a prime learning age, where new skills – such as those taught within the Lean Six Sigma – are long-lasting and beneficial to their developmental growth and productivity. Students can use the resources in the program to become certified trainers themselves and eventually leaders within their industry or community. Workshops The Lean Six Sigma program is offered in a series of workshops that can offer students a comprehensive background on the development of Lean Six Sigma, as well as how it can be used, learned, and applied throughout various activities. The program divides different concepts into each of the workshops, giving students time to learn and exercise their new knowledge in a practical way, before moving forward. It's much more than theoretical lessons, as the hands-on approach with our exercises ensures that students retain the information and know-how to put it into practice. Certifications Certifications are available to those students of the program who fulfill all of the requirements needed to complete the anticipated certifications. The program is divided into three main levels of achievement including the yellow belt, the green belt, and finally the black belt. Similar to their status in martial arts, each student can achieve the certifications once they have demonstrated their knowledge and skill with each subsection. Once they complete the associated test and pass, they will be awarded the appropriate certification. |
