Lean Six Sigma for Secondary Education
The Lean Six Sigma for education purposes and secondary grade-level learners can be extremely beneficial for academic purposes well beyond the initial training. Once students can master the concepts of the Lean Six Sigma system, they can then apply them to other areas of academia where the demands are higher and the workplace is more aggressive, including high school, vocational school, and even in higher education institutions.
What Can High Schoolers Learn From Lean Six Sigma? Promoting the Lean Six Sigma system in public schools has continued to be one of our main goals as we want students to be successful and productive parts of society, regardless of what industry they choose to contribute to. Many wonders why Lean Six Sigma is important, but it provides the groundwork for how students can make sound decisions when it comes to managing their time, prioritizing their work, and completing tasks that they are in charge of handling. The skills learned from the program are versatile and can translate across industries, well after high school or secondary. Lean Six Sigma Curriculum For High School Students The Lean Six Sigma curriculum for high school students varies slightly from the curriculum that would be given to existing industry workers. We’re proud to offer tailored materials and coursework that helps students understand why such a methodology is important and useful to them, while also helping them understand it and conceptualize it for more demanding tasks. The program is intended to help students reach their potential in every capacity, whether that be academically or professionally, or both. We give them the tools and resources on behalf of the Lean Six Sigma system that can drastically change the way they approach important activities and tasks in their lifetime. Passing Certification Test Passing the certification tests associated with every step of the Lean Six Sigma program is a feat in itself. Each of the certification tests requires comprehensive and extensive material coverage and training to ensure that every concept is learned in its entirety and the student knows how to apply each concept into practice and real-life situations, including school or the workplace. Each test, including the yellow belt, green belt, and master black belt, each has its number of points that must be reached to successfully pass the test and receive certification. Once completed, the student can then go on to the next level. Ohio Department of Education Graduation After you have completed the entire Lean Six Sigma learning program with the appropriate scores for each certification level, the Ohio Department of Education will then grant you a graduation honor that showcases your talent in the course and your achievements in fulfilling the determined requirements. Such an achievement can then be used to distinguish you among your peers during secondary graduation, high school graduation, or even within the workplace, or inside of a corporate setting. |
